Paddleboarding and Paddleboarding Tuition

Anglesey’s beaches are among the best in the UK, with a phenomenal six Blue Flag beaches on the island (8.5% of the UKs 71 Blue Flag beaches). There are a plenty of locations available for paddleboarding, but two of the best are the beaches at Rhosneigr.

Rhosneigr’s magnificent beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, make for an excellent paddleboarding destinations, especially for beginners – for whom the boat pool offers a calm and sheltered paddle – while more experienced paddleboarders can venture a little further out to challenge themselves against breaking waves.

Equipment

You can hire both a paddleboard and a wetsuit (and also book lessons) in the village itself from Funsport on Beach Road or Gecko on the High Street – though you can find some more places on our main paddleboarding page (above) if they’re out.
