Adventure is waiting on the doorstep
Experience all Anglesey has to offer from beautiful Rhosneigr
Trac Môn Anglesey Circuit, Ty Croes
The rise of Anglesey Circuit was a rapid one – from permission being granted to a local farmer to test his rally car on what was a derelict army camp at Ty Croes to the Caernarvonshire and Anglesey Motor Club holding their first Motor Sports Association permitted event stage rally on the track took less than a year. The Glyn Memorial Stages, hosted by those original rally organisers, is still held annually during November and is an important part of the calendar.
During 2006-2007, construction began on the total reconfiguration of the circuit into the 2.1 mile International, 1.55 mile Coastal, 1.2 mile National, and 0.8 mile Club circuits present today.
In addition to spectator events, the circuit also hosts both The Performance Driving Centre, offering driving experiences, and Anglesey Kickstart – a motorcycle driving school.
Where is it?
You can find Anglesey Circuit by taking Junction 5 of the North Wales Expressway (A55) and following the signs for the A4080 to Aberffraw and Rhosneigr. You can then follow the A4080 past Rhosneigr until you see signs for Anglesey Circuit. There is plenty of onsite parking available.
