Experience all Anglesey has to offer from beautiful Rhosneigr
Amlwch Town FC (Town), Almwch
Known locally as Town, Amlwch Town Football Club play their home games at Lôn Bach, Amlwch – a little outside the town centre. Founded in 1897, the team has an impressive collection of trophies from the local leagues and even reached as far as the Cymru Alliance (now Cymru North) where they played for two seasons between 2002 and 2004. The team now play in the fourth tier of Welsh football in the North Wales Coast West Premier Division.
While grass roots football may not boast the big names, it’s football the way we learned to love it – exciting games full of heart and passion, and with tickets for Amlwch Town FC only £3 for adults and free to children, there are few better ways to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon.
Where is it?
You can find the club by taking Junction 5 of the North Wales Expressway (A55) and following the signs for the A4080 to Aberffraw and Rhosneigr. You can then follow the A4080 until the signpost for Bryn Du. Following this road will take you to the club. Parking is limited on site, but there is on-road parking on some of the surrounding roads.
