Chaplin’s Ice Cream & Coffee Bar

Chaplin’s Ice Cream & Coffee Bar has been a Rhosneigr staple for decades, with generations of patrons coming back year after year to enjoy hand made ice cream and famous milkshakes (including lacto-free options). While you’ll definitely be delighted by the desserts, there’s also a good selection of hot and cold food on offer, with baguettes, panini, cooked breakfasts, home made burgers, slow roasted pulled pork baps and more (including a kid’s menu).

Chaplin’s is a fantastic local institution, with generous portions, excellent prices and a friendly, family atmosphere that will make it a staple of your trips to Rhosneigr – just as it is for locals.

Where is it?

Located on the corner of Harrison Drive and High Street, just 2 minutes walk from Rhosneigr beach, Chaplin’s Ice Cream & Coffee Bar is an excellent place to take the family for ice cream (whatever the weather) or to grab lunch during a busy day at the beach. There’s limited on-street parking nearby, but Rhosneigr Pay and Display Car Park is about five minutes walk away. Chaplin’s Ice Cream & Coffee Bar is also centrally located in the village, meaning you won’t have to travel far for your day’s activities.

Chaplin’s Ice Cream & Coffee Bar is open Friday to Monday between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm, but closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
