The Ship Inn

A traditional, wood beamed British pub benefitting from the incredible scenery of Anglesey’s Red Wharf Bay, Ship Inn was originally a row of mid-18th century cottages which housed a small public house within the leftmost cottage. Although now taking up the whole row, Ship Inn retains many of the original features while still feeling modern.

Diners can eat inside or on picnic benches outside with exceptional views of the bay, and the menu is made up of the chef’s unique takes on classic pub food, all made (where possible) from locally sourced, quality ingredients.

Where is it?

Ship Inn is set in a genuinely beautiful location, overlooking Red Wharf Bay. Protected from the prevailing winds, and catching the morning and afternoon sun perfectly, the outside dining area can be spectacular in the right weather. There’s plenty of nearby parking, making the journey out to the pub much less daunting, but if you’ve been in the Benllech area during the day, The Ship Inn is the ideal place to grab a traditional British pub meal.
