The Gaerwen Arms

The first restaurant from award winning chef Andrew Tabberner and friend and business partner Oli Thompson, The Gaerwen Arms is a fabulous pub and restaurant that was awarded two AA Rosettes within the first 12 weeks of opening.

Located in the picturesque village of Gaerwen, The Gaerwen Arms is a well appointed restaurant and bar that prides itself on changing its whole menu on the first of each month, and sourcing as many of its ingredients from the island itself – ensuring the menu is fresh and seasonal.

Where is it?

Located just a short ride along the A5 from junction 7 of the A55 (North Wales Expressway), about 10 minutes from the bridge crossings, in the gorgeous little village of Gaerwen, The Gaerwen Arms is a great place to grab a meal on your way on to the island or on your way home, with onsite parking and ease of access to the island’s main road. However, having quickly earned a reputation for exceptional food (and two AA Rosettes), it’s also well worth the journey at any point during your stay on the island.
