The Island Cove Café
Awarded the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award (2022), The Island Cove Café serves all-day breakfasts as part of a menu made up of traditional Welsh and British staples including homemade cakes, brownies and cheesecakes, bubble waffles, milkshakes, afternoon teas (if pre-ordered), and much more.
The café also serves a wide variety of vegan and veggie breakfasts and provides sit in or take out options. Dogs are extremely welcome at The Island Cove Café, and there is also a small range of locally made arts and crafts. Even in Benllech, which has a wealth of small cafes and restaurants, this is well worth a visit.
Where is it?
Located just a short walk along Bay View Road from Benllech Square Pay and Display Car Park and a ten minute walk from Traeth Benllech, The Island Cove Café is a great spot for food if you’ve been exploring the village or to refuel with a breakfast before a day at the beach. You can reach the village, and the café, by taking the A5025 from the Menai Bridge or A55 followed by the A5025 from the Britannia Bridge which will take you all the way through to the car park.
