Yes. Driftwood is a boutique bed and breakfast in Anglesey, located in the coastal village of Rhosneigr. Our B&B combines beautifully styled rooms, a high-quality breakfast, and a relaxed base from which to explore the island.

Where in Anglesey are you located?

We are located in Rhosneigr, on the west coast of Anglesey. Driftwood sits just a short walk from the beach and village centre, with easy access to coastal walks, watersports, restaurants, and many of the island’s most popular attractions.

What type of accommodation is Driftwood?

Driftwood is a boutique guest house and bed and breakfast, offering the comfort and finish of a luxury hotel paired with the warmth and personal service of a locally run guest house. The result is a calm, refined stay rather than a large, impersonal hotel experience.

When was Driftwood refurbished?

Driftwood was completely refurbished in 2022 to a high standard. The interiors were carefully designed to reflect the surrounding coastal landscape of Rhosneigr, creating spaces that feel elegant, welcoming, and timeless.

Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast alongside a selection of lighter options, including Welsh-made jams and preserves, local honey, fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, and additional choices for special dietary requirements.

Are you close to the beach?

Do you offer sea views?

Yes. Some rooms enjoy views of the sea, as well as views towards the mountains and RAF Valley from the second and third floors. Availability of specific views depends on the room selected.

Do you have parking available?

Parking is on street parking only. There is usually ample parking in the vicinity of the accommodation. We kindly ask guests not to block access to any of the nearby drives or roads.

Are you open all year?

Yes. Our bed and breakfast in Anglesey is open year-round, making Driftwood a lovely choice for quieter off-season escapes, coastal winter walks, and relaxed stays outside the summer months.

How far are you from other parts of Anglesey?

Rhosneigr is well-positioned for exploring the island. Many of Anglesey’s beaches, walking routes, historic sites, and attractions are within an easy drive, making Driftwood a convenient and enjoyable base.

Do you offer self-catered accommodation?

Yes. In addition to our guest house rooms, our residential annexe has been reimagined as a luxury self-catered lodge, offering a more private option while still enjoying Driftwood’s central Rhosneigr location.

Is Driftwood suitable for guests with limited mobility?

Driftwood is a beautiful three-storey boutique guest house, and, as a character property, it features stairs throughout the building. Unfortunately, we do not have a lift.

If you have limited mobility or prefer to minimise stair use, please contact us before booking. We’re always happy to advise on room locations and suitability.

Is Driftwood suitable for children?

Driftwood welcomes families in select rooms only, with suitability depending on room layout and location.

As a boutique guest house:

  • The property is arranged over three storeys
  • There are stairs throughout
  • We do not have a lift

If you are travelling with children, we recommend contacting us before booking so we can help you choose the most suitable room. Child-friendly rooms are limited and in high demand.

Do you accept group bookings?

To maintain the peaceful, boutique atmosphere our guests value, group bookings are accepted by prior discussion only.

If you are considering a group stay, please contact us in advance so we can discuss availability and suitability. Group bookings made online without prior agreement may be cancelled.

How do I book a stay?

You can book directly through our website or contact us if you have any questions before booking. Booking direct ensures the best availability and the most up-to-date information.

What time is check-in and check-out at Driftwood?

Check-in at Driftwood is from 3pm onwards. We offer self check-in, allowing you to arrive at your convenience and settle in at a relaxed pace. All the information you need for check-in will be sent by email a few days prior to your stay. We recommend keeping these details to hand for a smooth and efficient arrival.

Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure.

If you have special arrival or departure requirements, please contact us in advance and we’ll always be happy to advise where possible.

Is Driftwood adults-only?

How do I get to Driftwood in Rhosneigr?

Driftwood is located in the coastal village of Rhosneigr on the west coast of Anglesey.
The island is easily reached by car via the A55, and RAF Valley Airport is just a short drive away. The nearest mainline train stations are in Holyhead and Bangor, with onward travel by taxi or car recommended for exploring the area.

Do I need a car to stay at Driftwood?

A car is not essential for enjoying Rhosneigr itself, as beaches, restaurants, cafés, and coastal walks are all within easy walking distance of Driftwood.
However, having a car does make it easier to explore Anglesey’s wider landscapes, beaches, and attractions at your own pace.
