Gŵyl Beaumaris Festival 2023

The Beaumaris Festival is a vibrant and exciting celebration of culture, music, and creativity in the beautiful town of Beaumaris.  Held in May, the festival brings together a variety of local performers as well as some international acts for a series of concerts featuring genres ranging from classical and jazz, orchestral and solo, and instrumental and vocal. This is one music event on Anglesey that you don’t want to miss!

Gottwood Festival 2023

Folk on the Farm Festival

Folk On The Farm on Anglesey is the perfect summer music festival on Anglesey for those who want to get away from it all and bask in the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Held each year in July, this three-day event offers a wide variety of music from folk, blues, and world to indie, rock, and electronic. Along with music performances, there are also plenty of arts and crafts stalls as well as delicious food and drinks vendors. There are also activities such as camping, nature walks, swimming in cascading waterfalls and relaxing by lakeside hammocks. This tranquil festival offers an escape like no other; soak up the sun while enjoying some of Welsh’s finest contemporary sounds – you won’t be disappointed!

National Eisteddfod 

The National Eisteddfod of Wales is an annual celebration of Welsh culture and language. Held each summer, the National Eisteddfod features a wide range of events including singing competitions, literature readings, poetry recitals and theatrical performances, all in both Welsh and English. There are also art and photography exhibitions as well as lively debates on key issues concerning Wales. 

In addition to these formal events, there’s also plenty of music, dancing and other activities to keep everyone entertained. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to come together to enjoy some traditional fun, as well as for visitors from abroad to discover more about Welsh culture. From the world-class performers that take part each year to the incredible atmosphere created by festivalgoers from all around the world – this is one event you won’t want to miss!
