Walk The Menai Bridge
The Wales Coast Path has a free augmented reality app to enhance the experience of exploring the 870-mile coast path in Wales.
The app has been designed to inspire families to discover the path whilst having fun at the same time. 7 family-friendly walks have been integrated within the app. Once on the walk, you can point the app at the information board to unlock the special features in the app such as a game, an augmented reality feature or a 3D video telling you a story about that section of the path in a fun and different way.
You can try out the app, exploring the sea bed, the Swellies and life underneath the water on the 1-mile circular walk which starts and ends just over the bridge at the Treborth Botanical Garden in Bangor.
There’s also a short walk at Great Orme that allows you to train for World War Two with an augmented reality artillery game.

Visit Beaumaris Castle this Halloween for a frightful adventure along the eerie trail around the castle grounds! Beware of the ghastly figures that prowl within its walls.
