Windsurfing and Windsurfing Tuition

Rhosneigr is one of the best windsurfing locations in the UK – a perfect mix of waves, wind and safety infrastructure. It’s also one of the best places to learn – Rhosneigr is one of the windiest places in the UK and, as lessons are taught in a natural bay, conditions that might make some think twice elsewhere are much less of a concern. Funsport Surf Shop which is located right on the beach, runs a range of tailored courses from beginner and youth introductions to intermediate and advanced windsurfers aiming to improve their planning carve gybes, jumping techniques and wave skills.

Tuition available
Tuition is available for windsurfers at any level, and can be booked on the Funsport Surf Shop site linked below. Prices for tuition are as follows:

• 1 hour as part of a group: £30.00 per person
• 1 hour individual lessons: £42.50
• Adult windsurfing groups (18+) 2 hour lessons: £50.00 per person
• “Zero to Hero” training (18+) 6 hours over 3 sessions: £130 per person
• Youth windsurfing groups (<18) 2 hour lessons: £45.00 per person
