A traditional Chinese takeaway and chip shop, Phoenix is one of the best loved takeaways on the island. Offering standard English and Chinese options, as well as meal deals. Located in the town of Llangefni, Phoenix provides excellent food for takeaway, in good portions at reasonable prices – including plenty of vegetarian options.
There’s plenty to do nearby that might put you in the area at mealtime – but regulars at this Chinese takeaway will tell you it’s worth travelling a little out of your way to pick your meal.
Where is it?
Located on Bridge Street in the town of Llangefni around the centre of the island, and reachable from both of the island’s bridges by taking the North Wales Expressway to junction six and taking the A5114 into Llangefni itself. Phoenix is the ideal takeaway stop off for visitors that have spent the day at Oriel Mon museum, golfing, or walking the lengthy Nant-y-Pandy nature walk.

Monday – Sunday
Phoenix is open between 12:00pm and 2:00pm for lunch orders and again between 5:00pm and 10:00pm every day of the week.
