The Coffee Hut
Awarded the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award (2022), Riverside Arts and Crafts Café serves homemade soups, pies, quiches, cakes and crumbles while also providing a selection of gluten-free and vegan food that has become famous among travellers with special dietary requirements.
A quirky establishment that’s easy to miss, it’s little wonder the art covered walls and homely environment allows patrons to feel like they’ve stumbled onto something a little special. With friendly staff, fantastic food and great prices, this is definitely one to check out during your stay.
Where is it?
Not far from the riverbank of the Afon Cefni, in the lovely rural village of Malltraeth, Riverside Arts and Crafts Café is a little of the beaten path, but actually makes an excellent stop off for anyone wanting to take a long walk or cycle along a coastal path and through Coed Niwbrch all he way to Ynys Llanddwyn – approximately a 90 minute walk or half hour cycle. The café is also a short walk from Maes Parcio Malltraeth, making it an excellent place from which to refuel before beginning your explorations.
Opening times
