Luckily when you stay with us at Driftwood you will find yourself situated less than half a mile away from the famous Anglesey Golf Club. This is the only links golf course on the island and its coastal location ensures a massive challenge for golfers of all abilities on account of the often prevalent coastal winds.

Rainy Day Activities

If you are looking for things to do on a rainy day in Anglesey over this period, then you’ll find plenty of things to keep you occupied nearby.

Since it’s raining already, you won’t be too concerned about getting wet. That’s handy if you happen to pay a visit to the Funsport Rhosneigr surf shop. Located overlooking Rhosneigr beach, you can try your hand at a number of different water sport activities including surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding.

You can hire equipment and take advantage of tuition from professionals including an Olympic Racing coach. And, don’t worry; wetsuits to help protect you from the cold are just part of the equipment available to hire on-site.

Indoor Attractions

Keen to keep yourself dry and warm during your February getaway? Then why not pay a visit to one of the many historic attractions and indoor museums in Anglesey. This includes the fascinating Anglesey Transport Museum in Newborough.

Here you can find a wonderful collection of almost 100 vehicles dating back as far as the 1920s. There is something for every kind of motoring fan here with cars, motorbikes and even a jet plane!
