Terms and Conditions

Driftwood Guest House – is a trading name of Rhosneigr Limited (Company Number: 13046384), referred to as ‘us’/’we’/’our’.

These are the terms and conditions which apply when you book accommodation with us, whether you use an online booking service or via email or via telephone. ‘You’/’Your’ are the person or legal entity making the booking as confirmed in the ‘Booking Confirmation’ (the Booking). By making a booking you are deemed to accept and be bound by these Booking Terms.

Terms and Conditions

Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on your day of arrival. We do not offer check-in before 3pm. Please let us know if you are to arrive after 7pm as alternative check-in arrangements may need to be arranged.

Departure

Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11am on your day of departure. Should you wish to leave your luggage for later collection please ensure this is agreed in advance.

Your Booking

Your Booking is contracted for the number of nights and people. You are not allowed to have additional people staying in the room over and above the number contracted (i.e. you cannot have four people sleeping in a double room for two people).

We reserve the right to charge an additional full rate for any such unauthorised stay and/or to terminate the Booking at our discretion only.

Due to the residential location of our accommodation and only having a communal breakfast area we are unable to cater for hen/stag parties.

You must be aged over 18 to make a Booking.

Payment Details

Full payment is taken 14 days prior to arrival using the card given to secure the Booking, please see below for full cancellation details.

Please see your Booking Confirmation email for the terms of payment relating to your Booking.

Rhosneigr Limited does not accept payment by cash or cheque.

Listed prices are subject to seasonal change.

Please note all rates listed are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. VAT rates are subject to change from time to time. Prices do not include other costs you may choose to incur during your stay.

Prices quoted are correct (unless a pricing error occurs). We do not have to honour pricing errors and reserve the right to amend any.

Special Offers, late deals and single night Bookings require payment in full at the point of Booking.

The guest house room rate includes accommodation and breakfast only.

Guest Areas

The Guest areas at the accommodation are the room you have booked and the dining room during breakfast sittings.

Cancellation and Insurance

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract.

For bookings made via rhosneigr.co.uk and directly with us – cancellation is free of charge up to 15 days prior to arrival. For bookings made direct please contact us on landline: 01407521125 or mobile 07342962185 or via email at hello@rhosneigr.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements subject to the cancellation charges set out herein.

For bookings made via third party sites or agent’s cancellation is available up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival without charge.

Any cancellations that do not fall in line with the above policy will be charged in full.

Your booking does not include any cancellation insurance.

Non-availability

In the event we need to cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control we may offer you an alternative date for accommodation, however if this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund any monies paid by you for the specific room not available. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund. This clause is separate to the force majeure clause set out below.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on our premises. The front patio can be used for vaping only.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation and its contents. Please let us know of any instances as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages but we reserve the right to charge your debit/credit card (used to pay for the accommodation) for significant damage or breakages. Wilful or negligent damage will incur the full cost of replacement or repair.

In the event of any damage or loss to the contents of the accommodation, including stains to any of the soft furnishings and carpets we reserve the right to charge the replacement cost with new.

All linen is provided including towels. Should linen, bathrobes or toiletries be removed from the accommodation we reserve the right to charge the debit/credit card used to book your accommodation with the cost of replacing the items.

We reserve the right to charge your debit/credit card with the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the accommodation without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges.

We reserve the right to take action against you, if you are found to have tampered or interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the accommodation, including heat detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by us due to your actions and additionally may be asked to leave the accommodation. We reserve the right to make a charge to your debit/credit card for any such relevant charges.

As an example: replacement keys, umbrellas or hairdryers are charged at £25 each.

No liability will be accepted for any loss or damage to possessions, valuables or vehicles to guests or others. This includes but is not limited to anything left behind after check-out. Please ensure you take all of your luggage and your personal items with you. Any lost property not claimed within 3 months will be disposed of. Please contact us if you do think you have left something behind. If we are able to find the missing item then we will, subject to recharging you the postage costs, try to return it you.

Guest Behaviour

We will not tolerate any type of abusive, violent or unacceptable behaviour towards our team or any fellow guest. In the event of any type of incident you and the rest of your party will be required to leave immediately and the Booking terminated. The total amount of the Booking will remain chargeable and no refunds will be issued.

Please be aware of fellow guests if coming in very late or leaving early from the accommodation. Please also be considerate when watching TV or playing music of other guests. As stated above we reserve the right to terminate your Booking with it remaining chargeable if faced with unreasonable or anti-social behaviour.

We do not tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory language or behaviour and we reserve the right to terminate a Booking on receipt of a complaint. Please contact a member of the team via the on-duty phone as soon as possible if you have an issue with the behaviour of a fellow guest.

Neighbours

Please remember that our accommodation is in a residential area and be respectful of our neighbours at all times.

Parking

Parking is on street parking only. There is usually ample parking in the near vicinity to the accommodation. Please do not block access to any of the nearby drives or roads.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicle or possessions.

Rhosneigr Limited does not accept liability for loss or damage to any object, equipment (including but not limited to surf boards and/or wetsuits), stock, furniture or any other property brought on to the premises by you or persons authorised by you.

Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation. Our total liability to you is limited to the price of the Booking and in no circumstances will we be responsible for you for any indirect or special damages.

Data Privacy

In order to process your Booking we will need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will include your name and contact details and those of any other members of your party. They will also include credit/debit card or other payment details relating to your Booking.

Any information you supply to us may be retained on a database for a year and will be used for the purpose of administrative functions, contacting you about bookings or sending you information about us. Your details will not be passed on to any third party without your prior consent except in cases where we believe, in good faith, that we have a legal obligation to disclose such information.

Please follow this link for a copy of our Privacy Policy [link] The Privacy Policy confirms your personal data will be transferred to Evivo Limited (including where necessary its subsidiaries) and that your data may be transferred outside of the EU. By making a booking you consent to this processing of information as described.

CCTV is in operation in the public areas of the accommodation.

Water

Please help yourself to a couple of cans of water each day from our fridge under the stairs.

Environmental thoughts

We try to be compassionate to our surroundings and have limited the amount of single use plastics we use within the accommodation.

Please help us to continue this during your stay.

All of our cleaning products are also gentle on the environment.

Children

Within our accommodation we only have limited rooms that will accommodate a travel cot or a z-bed (z bed is chargeable at £40 per room per night). Please ensure that you book the correct room when placing your booking.

If you book direct with us please ensure you inform us at the time of the booking otherwise due to demand by other guests and space within your room we cannot guarantee a cot or z-bed will be available or fit within the space available.

Pets

We have four dog friendly rooms within our accommodation that are dog friendly. It is subject to availability and the correct pet friendly room must be booked. Unfortunately, our other rooms are not pet friendly.

If booking direct please inform at the time of booking you require a dog friendly room.

It is a maximum 1 well behaved dog per room (or 2 small/medium size) only

There is a dog charge of £15 per dog per night.

Housekeeping will not service the room if dogs are left unattended.

If you have a registered assistance dog, please inform us prior to booking.

We are unable to cater for dogs in the breakfast room (except for service dogs). Please can your furry friends be kept in your accommodation whilst you enjoy your breakfast.

Security

Rhosneigr Limited expect your room and the front doors of the property to be closed at all times. We request that you follow the safety and security measures.

For all non-UK residents please bring your passport with you (and any of your guests staying in the accommodation) for the details to be taken by a member of the team on arrival. We will store passport information in line with current UK legislation and in line with our Privacy Policy.

We ask that you read our fire notice that can be found on the rear of each bedroom door.

Force Majeure

  • Rhosneigr Limited shall not be in breach of the contractual agreement with you if it does not provide the services under the booking due to the following circumstances:
  • Industrial action by our workers
  • Industrial action by one of our suppliers
  • Fire, lightning, explosion, riot civil commotion, malicious damage, extreme weather conditions, storm, flood, burst pipes, earthquake terrorism and/or the accommodation being damaged or destroyed.
  • Breakdown of machinery or any failure to supply the accommodation with gas, electricity, water and so on, outside of our control.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.

Each party acknowledges that in entering these terms and conditions it does not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in the Contract.

Governing Law

The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions.

Severance

If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the terms.

Third Party Rights

These terms and conditions do not give rise to any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any terms set out herein.
