With the Easter holidays fast approaching have you decided on your Easter things to do in Rhosneigr?
Springs arrived, and the weather is gradually getting warmer (albeit with an occasional hiccup). The Easter weekend is an ideal time to plan a fun family outing. Whether your youngsters have already indulged in some scrumptious Easter treats and need to burn off excess energy, or you simply wish to take advantage of the sunny skies, Rhosneigr and the greater Anglesey area offer a plethora of Easter events and fun things to do.

#1 The Great Easter Eggcase Hunt (Rhosneigr)
Help researchers learn more about sharks, skates and rays in Wales by taking part in the Great Easter Eggcase Hunt. Explore Rhosneigr’s beach like never before by learning about our incredible local shark species. Then venture out onto the shore and search for real sharks and skate eggcases!

#2 Eat Easter specials
Mojos have lots of Easter-related specials lined up and activities for the children whilst you dine.
They’re open throughout the holidays so it’s perfect if you fancy some amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner with Easter activities for the kids while you dine. Don’t forget to book a table though.
#3 Have Easter Sunday lunch
Spend Easter Sunday weekend tucking into a delicious Easter feast at one of the pubs in Rhosneigr.
Sandy Mount house and the Oyster Catcher are great Rhosneigr pubs to grab a classic Easter lunch as well as decadent desserts.
Mezze 40 are extended its opening hours during the Easter Holidays so you can grab Easter treat at this amazing restaurant. Bookings are essential via their website.
#4 Listen to Live Music
There are a couple of places around Rhosneigr that have Easter events where you can enjoy some tunes.
Anglesey golf club
Kevin DJ is playing over at the golf club at 7.30pm on Friday 7th of April. Entry is free. Find out more.
Oyster Catcher
From 5pm on the 8th and 9th of April, there’s live music from Josh Weaver and Pushin 40 in the garden.

#5 Go on an Easter trail
Enjoy a day full of adventures and fun at Plas Newydd on Anglesey this Easter. Follow the family-friendly trail around the garden looking for the early flowers and blossoms, bees and other wildlife. Take part in family-friendly activities along the ten-point trail.

#6 Go on an Easter Egg Hunt
Hunting for chocolate eggs is a traditional easter event. If you fancy partaking in the tradition and hunting for eggs there are a couple of egg hunts taking place a short distance from Rhosneigr.
Beaumaris castle’s Easter weekend eggstravaganza
Beaumaris castle’s Easter eggstravaganza returns for a fun weekend for all!
There will be an Easter egg hunt where you can track down all the clues, work out the answer and make your escape from the castle.
You can also expect to see warrior knights demonstrating what life was like centuries ago, archers, circus workshops, the castle jester, musicians, birds of prey and the castle’s executioner with his tools of torture!

Can you help the Easter Bunny find all the clues and the missing eggs?
If you’ve not had enough chocolate already your ticket Includes a luxury hot chocolate and a brownie for the children and a cream tea for the adults.

#7 Visit a beer garden
Nothing beats venturing out to a beer garden. And as the spring sunshine is making its much-anticipated return, an afternoon sitting with a beer or a long drink in a beer garden in Rhosneigr sounds very tempting. The Oyster Catcher and Y Morfa are good pubs to visit to sit outside and watch the world go by this Easter.
#8 Go on an Easter walk
A short, or a long hike is a great way to burn off all those chocolate easter eggs.
There’s a lovely pub walk that takes you from the Oyster Catcher along the coastal cliffs and around the village. It’s perfect for families with children (take a baby carrier as it’s not great for pushchairs).
