Rhosneigr Library
You’ll need a library card to use Rhosneigr library, but registration is free and can be done online. Saved from closure in 2020, Rhosneigr library is a local hub for clubs, activities and even art exhibitions – there’s also a handy tourist information section which can offer help planning holiday activities (in addition to our own extensive ‘see and do’ sections, obviously!).
The library is an excellent local resource, and the staff are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Although the building is relatively small, there is the option to order books, as well as the option to download electronic and audio versions of books and magazines from a large online catalogue. Whether you’re looking for something to read during quiet evenings in or to take with you to the beach, Rhosneigr library can be an excellent way to avoid filling your bags with books and therefore leave room for other essentials.
Where is it?
Located on Awel-Y-Mor, next to Rhosneigr Pay & Display Car Park, Rhosneigr library can be reached from Junction 5 of the North Wales Expressway, by following the signposts to Rhosneigr (A4080) into the centre of the village before taking a left at the intersection of Beach Road, Station Road and High Street and then the first left on to Awel-Y-Mor – the library is then the second building on the left.
Opening times
Monday
Rhosneigr Library is open between 3:30pm and 6:00pm on Mondays.
Wednesday
The library is open between 2:00pm and 4:30pm on Wednesdays.
Thursday
The library is open between 10:00am and 12:30pm on Thursdays.
Saturday
The library is open between 10.30am and 1:00pm on Saturdays.
