Anglesey Transport & Agriculture Museum

Anglesey Transport and Agriculture Museum, is the largest of its kind in Wales and among the largest in the UK. Featuring displays of cars, motorbikes, commercial and farm vehicles, and static engines, this is the perfect museum for any vehicle fanatic during their visit to Anglesey.

The museum – which has been fascinating visitors for more than 20 years, features a collection of more than 100 classic vehicles (including a collection of Landrovers) while, on a replica 1940s cobbled street, visitors can explore cars from the 1920s up modern classics, as well as motorbikes, tractors, military vehicles, and even a jet plane, plus thousands of items of memorabilia.

In addition to the museum itself, you can find:

  • Cafe featuring local produce
  • Play area with outside seating and panoramic views of Snowdonia
  • Disabled friendly venue with positive reviews from Disabled Holiday Info
  • Caravan site with electric hookups, showers and more facilities at very competitive prices
  • Regular events such as car owner’s club meetings, vintage rallies and more

Where is it?

A short drive out of Benllech, along the B5108, just next to Storwys Wen Golf Club, Benllech Tandoori is actually closer to Brynteg than Benllech, but the journey isn’t too long either way. From the bridges, you can reach the restaurant by taking the A5205, then School Lane all the way to the B5108. Benllech Tandoori has onsite parking available for customers, so you don’t have to worry about parking. However – ideally for a restaurant that’s a little out of the way – they also offer delivery.
