Bay View Restaurant & Bar
The focal point of the Gladys Country House Hotel, the Bay View Restaurant is a modern and comfortable location with stunning views across the hotel grounds and Cemaes Bay. The restaurant takes great pride in offering local produce and seafood, and is also one of the island’s fine dining restaurants which provides a great venue for a family meal – as well as a Sunday lunch.
Despite the quality of food on offer, the restaurant is comparatively inexpensive compared to some of the other restaurants listed. You’ll need to make reservations, though there are occasionally tables available on the day, but it’s well worth the effort and makes the ideal venue for special occasions.
Where is it?
A little more out-of-the-way than some of the other restaurants we’ve selected to feature on the site, Bay View Restaurant & Bar is located on the grounds of a late 19th century Victorian country house. However, with onsite parking available – and with a short walk through the extensive and well presented grounds taking you to Cemaes bay itself – there’s no need to worry about arriving early, while the bar provides somewhere to retreat to after your meal if you’re not quite ready to head back home or to your accommodation.
